With summer long gone and the Christmas holidays still months away, September should be a pretty dull month in the UK… right? Not anymore! September can only mean one thing on the car show calendar, Players Show presented by Air Lift Performance!

Over the past few weeks there’s been a massive buzz across social media building up to Players 9.0. From teaser shots on Instagram and convoy details scattered across Facebook, Players isn’t your typical one-day event – it’s a premium get together open to ALL modifying fans no matter the car make or model.

It’s awesome to see so much hype surrounding a single event, not to mention the MASSIVE support for Air Lift Performance in the UK right now. This year’s event unleashed more air-equipped rides than ever before courtesy of Air Lift heavyweights Car Audio Security, RIIVA Designs and Studio In Car to name a few. Every single car on display – privately owned or company built – had put in serious hours to ensure every car’s stance and paintwork was 100% on point.

By September the UK show season is usually beginning to calm down thanks to six months of non-stop weekend events. Combine that with the shorter days and rainy weather it’s amazing to think just how successful Players is as an event, but that’s all down to the two organisers (Carl Taylor & Jamie McToldridge) who are looked up to and respected by many car enthusiasts.

In fact, Players now attracts some of the world’s most exciting cars on display, including Ken Block’s 800bhp ‘Hoonicorn’ Mustang! This thing looks fast even when it’s standing still – we can’t wait to see if in action at the Gymkhana Grid final later this month.

The British weather didn’t disappoint either, the glorious sunshine covering North Weald Airfield throughout the entire day was definitely a welcome bonus! Great cars, amazing people and a chilled-out vibe. The guys at Players absolutely nailed it once again, and we’re super proud to be the main sponsors of such an awesome event. We can’t wait to join ’em again in 2016!
